The OKI 1040 and 1050 printers are perfect for short runs for any application requiring full colour vibrant print.
South East Labels – Tried and tested
We are lucky enough to have been able to test the printers first hand and put the printer through its paces. One thing that we wanted to do was test the durability of the label outside, in a real-world scenario.
Using a polypropylene material, we produced a colour and greyscale chart through the OKI 1040 and stuck these to our recycling bin in Spring on this year. Coming into Winter, they have been through most weather types that our country has to offer. Along with this, being stuck to our recycling bins, they are not only open to the elements and UV, but also in a situation where they are likely to be knocked and come into contact with dirt. On inspection there has also been no obvious signs of degradation to either the label or the print. With water-based inks that are used in the majority of inkjet labels printers, we expect to see some wear in this time.
From our 35+ years of experience, these are some of, if not the best results we have seen from an end-user colour label printer in terms of the quality of print as well as the durability.
